Beallsville is part of the Pittsburgh metropolitan area. The borough is situated along the Monongahela River, about 28 miles southwest of Pittsburgh. The town was named after the Beall family, who were early settlers in the area. Beallsville is known for its small-town charm, historic buildings, and scenic countryside. The town has a post office, several small businesses, and a volunteer fire department. Beallsville is also known for its nearby covered bridge, which is a popular attraction for visitors.
